 What every client needs to know - I work by appointment only for hair extension services. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment you may have to reschedule or your wait may be longer than normal.
- I will give options during your consultation, however, there are no shortcuts. Although I can create a great "illusion" I am not a magician. I can only do what I tell you I can do. Consultations are FREE but are limited to 15-20 minutes.
- You will be given an estimate of the cost of hair during your consultation; within 24 hours I will provide you with an exact amount and estimated time of delivery.
- Remember, you will get what you pay for. If you choose to purchase the cheaper hair option it is possible that you will end up disappointed in the end. I'll give the pros and cons of each, but ultimately it is your decision. There are some decisions I cannot make for you. If you need time to think, you can always contact me later.
- Allow 4 hours for a new install and 2 hours for a shampoo and style appointment. A rushed stylist will deliver a rushed job.
- Closures can be added to an existing weave but they cannot be removed once installed on a new weave. Be sure a closure is what you want prior to the install.
- All weaves feel tight at first. Usually it loosens after a few days. There is a difference between tightness and pain. All weaves itch a bit. The itching will come and go. If you are going to wear a weave you must recognize that there may be some slight discomforts associated with it.
- I will not tolerate inconsiderate rude clients. I'm here to service you, but I will not be disrespected or talked down to. I adore a pleasant person and its my desire to have a beautiful client stylist relationship with you. Disagreements and misunderstandings can always be worked out rationally.
- No children under the age of 12 are allowed in the salon unless being serviced. A salon should be a place of relaxation. Some children will sit quietly while others are a disturbance. If you are lacking childcare you must reschedule or cancel your appointment.
- I only use hair vendors that I have personally worn hair from. If your hair order doesn't arrive by your appointment date I will refund your deposit or reschedule your appointment per your request but the hair is still yours when it arrives. (Hair purchases are nonrefundable) I have no control over the postal system so be sure to order your hair well in advance to avoid mailing delays.
- Contrary to popular beliefs, I am able to sew in wefts on any hair type. Frequent shampooing plays a huge part in the longevity of a sew in weave. Those who are used to shampooing everyday must learn the correct way to shampoo to avoid shortening the lifespan of the install. During your consultation I will explain how to properly care for your hair extensions.
- Lace frontal application will be applied using my choice of adhesive. Body chemistry determines how long the adhesive will hold. Sweat and oil will soften the bond. It's possible that you may need a stronger adhesive. If this is the case you are responsible for purchasing your own adhesive. I will be happy to assist you with providing an alternative.
- Please understand that I only guarantee the install. There is no way for me to control how the hair acts once installed. I do not warranty any hair because I am not a hair manufacturer. Deep condition treatments and detangling rinses may help to tame your weave when experiencing problem. I do provide these services. If you are not satisfied with your hair purchase due to tangling or shedding you must contact the company that you purchased the hair from for a resolution. If you purchased the hair through me, I will assist you in resolving any issues that you may have. All hair purchases are final.
- Pictures speak a thousand words. It's hard for me to understand a verbal description of a hairstyle. Without a picture you may end up with my idea of what you described and not yours.
- No wet sets are done on the same day of a new install.
- There is an extra charge for taking down an install and reinstalling on the same day. (see pricelist)
- If you are reusing hair from a previous install, the hair must be washed conditioned, detangled and dried when you arrive for your appointment. If this is not done there will be an extra charge. (see pricelist)
- You must come biweekly for maintenance appointments in order to avoid matting, tangling, and slippage of your natural hair. These appointments will allow you to wear your weave for up to three months. Additional charges for tightening will apply if you have not been coming in regularly for maintenance. (see pricelist)
- There is an extra charge for a sew in when the clients natural hair falls past the collar. (see pricelist)
